ASSOCIATE ARTISTS

Le BLOCK supports four artistic teams over three years through the “Associated Artist” programme initiated by the French Ministry of Culture: Compagnie Relevant, Les Alchimistes, Lignes Urbaines and IAAL. These companies will take an active part in the outreach and training initiatives led by Le BLOCK.

This shared production unit supports artistic teams in their professional development, the day-to-day administration of their company and the legal structuring of their artistic project.

ARTISTS IN RESIDENCE

As a place for creation and support, Le BLOCK · CCNR provides artistic teams with resources, through co-production funding, as well as working spaces. Despite the fire that damaged part of the building in 2017, the Accueil-studio programme continues.

Accueil-studio is one of the missions of the National Choreographic Centres, as confirmed by the French Ministry of Culture’s circular of August 31, 2010 on national labels and networks for the performing arts. This programme responds to a principle of shared resources.
