Drawing on a wide range of influences and a deep curiosity for aesthetics beyond hip-hop, Marwan develops a movement language that is both powerful and sensitive.

His dance practice is enriched by theatricality and emotional work, strengthening the choreographic vocabulary he developed during his training as a performer. He began hip-hop at the age of 15, then trained as a self-taught dancer before joining a professional dance performer training programme in Lyon. Through various artistic and cultural projects, he has expanded his vocabulary through mediation and transmission with a wide range of audiences. Marwan has worked as a performer with HKC company and has taken part in several projects with the association Danser sans frontières, in France and internationally. Passionate about exchange, he draws inspiration from the people he meets to develop his artistic language.

Freddy discovered hip-hop at the age of 16, with a particular interest in breaking. The following year, he discovered the world of creation by joining a project with Compagnie Subterfuge.

His curiosity and desire to learn led him to explore different movement languages through workshops with Jann Gallois, Mickaël Le Mer and David Drouard, among others. In 2017, he joined the first class of the ID training programme, Interprète Danseur, based in Feyzin and directed by Cie De Fakto, where he discovered a wide range of choreographic worlds. Freddy has notably worked with Compagnie Ma’ on the piece Si c’est une fille, as well as with HKC company on Urgence.

Jérôme Oussou began dancing at the age of 18 through self-taught b-boying. He then gradually opened up to other hip-hop dance styles and beyond.

He joined the ID training programme in 2017 with the desire to professionalise his practice. His approach to dance is deeply musical, and his experience of contemporary dance, b-boying and house has allowed him to develop a movement language of his own. This curiosity has led him towards a highly musical dance, blending lightness and power, a versatile dance that he can adapt to his environment, a hybrid dance shaped by his different influences. In 2018, he joined Compagnie Relevant while also working with other companies in the Lyon region and beyond, including Cie Kham, Collectif AR, Concert de l’Hôtel Dieu and Cie 100 Blazes.

David discovered dance through an artistic education from an early age. Alongside learning several musical instruments, he discovered hip-hop at the age of 13.

Later, he explored Latin dances and began teaching hip-hop at 18. He developed a passion for transmission and encounter. In 2018, he joined the ID training programme. He continues to teach, while focusing primarily on his work as a performer by joining several companies, including Compagnie Relevant. Since his training, he has become interested in contemporary dance and a variety of artistic aesthetics. He works with the companies De Fakto, Kham and DADR, David Drouard.

Karym has been practising hip-hop dance since the age of 11, training himself in breaking techniques. He later attended training sessions led by Foued Chaia at the États-Unis Social Centre in Lyon.

After taking part in the Babel 8.3 project, he began professionalising as a dance performer at the age of 16 and decided to join the ID training programme in Feyzin. Karym is driven by many influences and maintains an open-minded approach that allows him to discover and practise other dance styles. With curiosity, he nourishes his choreographic work to develop a hybrid style, combining powerful, explosive dance with a highly aerial aesthetic. He also works as a performer with HKC and Dyptik.
