Coming from a modern and contemporary dance background, Marion quickly found inspiration in hip-hop culture through underground training sessions.

She went on to train in urban dances in Paris, Berlin, Tokyo and Seoul. In 2014, she began teaching a discipline she named “urban modern”, at the crossroads of contemporary dance and urban practices.

She teaches regular classes and masterclasses in various institutions across the Lyon metropolitan area, including Pôle Pik, Mov’n’Dance, Mix Dance Energy and the CNSMD de Lyon, as well as workshops in schools.

Alongside her work as a dancer, she develops projects such as Kampus and Répertoire & Folia, under the artistic direction of Mourad Merzouki. She has also collaborated with the band Pethrol, the visual artists of the Smicarts collective and Compagnie 100 Blazes.

In 2014, she founded Compagnie Lignes Urbaines, with the aim of constantly renewing itself around choreographic art within a distinctive universe. Three pieces have since been created: Hunimal in 2014, 130 YENS in 2016 and Profil Bis in 2018. She shares excerpts from her repertoire with young dancers from training programmes such as Désoblique, Mix Dance Energy and Cie Au Fait – Fabrik D’artistes.

Marion has been interested in Japanese culture for many years. She is learning the language and uses her stays in Japan to train in the distinctive teaching methods of Japanese hip-hop dancers. Always in search of new approaches and renewal, Marion began practising Aikido in 2017, then Parkour in 2020. She is also a philosophy student at Université Paris 10.
