During these three transmission periods, young dancers from the Pôle d’Enseignement Supérieur de Musique et de Danse (PESMD) Bordeaux Nouvelle Aquitaine are invited to join the world of Spirit Desire.
Based on spontaneous improvisation, this new piece draws on the Practice method. Following studio workshops, dancers will learn to find and then deploy their own creativity, making it visible in real time. Together, they will bring individual and collective images to life, building a fluid, multi-dimensional, participatory space. Thanks to its immersive, quadri-frontal set-up, Spirit Desire will invite audiences to get as close as possible to the dancers, to share their vitality, expressiveness and energy.
*At the end of the transmission, the PESMD dancers will present the fruit of their research, nourished by different musical aesthetics and crossing styles from the history of dance. From choreographic writing to overall scenography, La Danse en héritage presents the art of choreography in all its forms! From the singular to the collective, each form tells its own story of balance and imbalance, weight and counterweight, lifts, turns and gyrations, jumps, falls and suspensions, and emotions to be shared with all audiences.
