A manifesto of the body, movement and voice, giving birth to a new hymn that brings us together.
After performing Acta est Fabula at the Théâtre National de la Danse in Chaillot in 2018, Yuval Pick instantly felt it would make a big impact on young people, thanks to its madcap energy and free-spirited vibe – so he decided to create a shorter version especially for young audiences.
Accompanied by his five dancers, Yuval Pick creates a piece about unison: a manifesto of the body, movement and voice, giving birth to a new hymn that brings us together.
The sound creation bounces from popular songs to snippets of sound and group movements to draw a colorful, rhythmic piece. In Lil’Acta, Yuval Pick leads us into an exhilarating choreographic universe that blends humor, expressiveness and a touch of madness to create a common fable.

“This piece is challenging in the sense that the format makes no concessions to speak to family audiences (…), yet it is no less interesting, taking us on a journey of sound and vision with a humorous, playful approach that delights the senses.”
