This year, the CCNR organizes a new Summer Camp at La Velette dance studio in Rillieux-la-Pape. This summery parenthesis will give professional dancers the opportunity to experience the Practice method, foundation of Yuval Pick’s pedagogy, and to join the universe of his creation Pazaz.
Led by Madoka Kobayashi, this summer camp is an invitation to experience joy and spontaneous connections; a real-time experience of organic explorations, both intimate and collective. The camp has three objectives:
- To awaken and guide your relationship with others by playing with it, questioning it, and making it flexible;
- To motivate your body’s movements through images, actions and intentions;
- To nourish presence by rendering visible the urgent need for your inner language to be transformed into physical language.
Public: professional dancers
Cost: free (limited places)
Selection based on application:
→ Fill and send this form to the following email address with a CV, a photography and a video link attached before June 27 2022 at midnight. The list of the selected interns will be published Friday, July 1st 2022.

Program
10:30 am-12:30 pm — Practice class with Madoka Kobayashi, permanent dancer of the CCNR’s company
12:30-01:30 pm — lunch break
01:30-04:30 pm — workshops around Practice and Pazaz, 2020 creation of Yuval Pick
Friday, July 22 at 5:30 pm, the dancers of the Summer Camp will interpret FoulePazaz, extended format of Pazaz, in the Jardins Partagés de Castellane in Rillieux-la-Pape within the framework of the strong time of the MJC Ô Totem.
