Director – Yuval Pick
Yuval Pick's choreographic vocabulary is unique, remarkably free from the many influences which have marked his own artistic journey.
Each creation is an opportunity for him to integrate and research further the relationship his movements have with music. He constructs unexpected dialogues, interweaving rhythmic elements, reshapes the spaces. No one material is there to serve another, nor does it ignore the presence of the others.
His work is fully transform the dancers and their spaces, creating a new dimension which will expand beyond mere individualities.
"I am convinced that important works are the results of nothing but a strong complicity between creator and dancers. This art of the instant and the embodiment of the work are deeply connected with its sensitive medium, the dancers. In consequence, creator and translator, are both create a whole; though it sounds obvious, it is important for me to point this out since it is the first foundation element of my approach of dancing."
