Bénédicte Jolys — Set designer
Gratuated of Ecole des Beaux-Arts - Rennes and ENSATT, she works for dance, drama and fina arts projects. She was the assistant of Jan Kopp, Nicolas Floc’h and Gilles Touyard, she worked on video production and video recording for the choreographer Alain Buffard and since 2004 worked as a set designer for some theater director (A.Fichet, M.Bachelot, G.Gregory-Fornet…). In 2004, she worked as a set designer at the Théâtre Folle Pensée for the project Pièces d’identités in Saint-Brieuc and in West Africa, she met Alfred Dogbé - a Nigerian author, together they created the project A l’étroit in West Africa. She worked as well for theater directors and contemporary authors : Myriam Marzouki, Christine Letailleur, Charline Grand, Marie-Laure Crochant, Julien Lacroix, Dany Simon, Coraline Cauchi and the collectif Lumière d’Août with whom she is still working.
